18th century stone Gateways

These early 18th century French gateways are completely hand-carved from massive blocks of sandstone. Their moldings and symmetric design are typical for the Louis XIV style. Originally they were part of the fencework around a country mansion in the Northeast of France and were used as a back entrance to the park surroundings. Total length 1025 x 290 H cm with gates 133 cm wide or in inches 403.5 x 114.2 H and gates 52.4 wide. ref. 10004.
